This summer, take a deep dive into Reynolda’s collection of artwork and explore different ways we might look at and make art. Inspired by the Museum’s renowned collection of American art on view during Layered Looking: Making Sense of Art, young artists will produce their own original work of art each day during these half-day camps.
Returning families: Please note that the historic house portion of the museum and swimming pool will be closed during 2026 summer adventures camps while we undergo an HVAC renovation to help preserve Reynolda’s collections for the future. Students will take inspiration from the permanent collection featured in Layered Looking: Making Sense of Art and the estate.
Art Adventures camps are for students enrolled in K-5 grades during the 2025-2026 school year.
Students should bring a snack and lunch.
The projects are identical in sessions I and II.
