A Morning in the Meadow Tour Description

4th grade

Students explore the unique meadow ecosystem. Activities allow students to identify the plants and animals dependent on the meadow. Students will create a soundscape map to identify meadow wildlife.

Meets NC Standard Course of Study:  4.L.1.1, 4.L.1.2, 4.L.1.3, L.1.4, + Science & Engineering Practices (SEPs) embedded throughout

Location: Reynolda Gardens – Formal Gardens

Available: September, October, March, April and May

Accommodates: 8-50 people
