Mindfulness and the Museum: Contemplative Viewing

Upcoming Date and Time(s):
May 1, 2026, 10:00am — 12:00pm

Location: Reynolda House

Cost: $25 for General | $20 for Museum Members

Any artwork can be an opening to conversation and fresh seeing. With both guided and independent looking, participants will practice engaging with works of art slowly.

The invitation is to discover what these works of art might have to say in the moment how, through collective exploration, we may more carefully consider them.

Join educator and Layered Looking: Making Sense of Art curator Julia Tanner for this interactive experience.
