Botany Basics

Botany Basics Tour Description

Kindergarten

Students will discover what plants need to live in this introduction to botany. We will explore the garden by looking closely at the basic structure of a flower, discovering how a flower grows and changes, and discussing the flower’s basic needs. We will also use observation skills to look closely at plants from root to leaf and co-create a poem about our observations. The visit includes a walk in the garden.
