To consider the basic concept of how pigment on one surface can create a print on another, we can use this quick printing method.
Abstract Expressionism was an art style created in the United States and offers a chance to think about American identity. For American History through Art tours, there’s a modified version of chalk printing we do. The workshop looks at abstraction through line, and finishes with a quick, colorful, experimental print made with chalk on water.
- With 8-24 students, visit time for tour + workshop is 90 minutes
- With 25-48 students, visit time for tour + workshop is 2 hours and some students will do the workshop in the beginning or middle of the tour.
