Gifts in Honor, Celebration, and Memory

By honoring your loved one with a gift in memory or celebration, you are supporting seasonal plantings, general maintenance across the property, and enabling staff to care for Reynolda as the treasured community resource that it is. The entire Reynolda estate benefits from your thoughtful remembrance.

All honorees will be listed on a special memorial page in Cultivate, published twice a year by Reynolda Gardens, along with a listing in the annual honor roll of donors.

Plant a tribute tree

For a minimum gift of $2,500, a new tree will be planted in honor or remembrance of your loved one. A special tag that includes the honoree’s name will accompany the tree.

FAQs

When will my tree be planted?
All tribute trees will be planted in the fall to give them the best opportunity for survival.

What happens if the tree dies?
If the tree dies within the first three years, it will be replaced along with the commemorative label. The tree will remain dedicated to your loved one during the lifespan of the tree.

Do I get to choose the tree I want?
Reynolda Gardens will choose the tree species and an accessible location in the Greater Gardens, and will communicate with you prior to the planting.

What else do I receive with my gift?
Your $2,500 gift is fully tax deductible. You will receive a certificate of planting with the date, your name, and the name of the person you are paying tribute to. All honorees will be listed on a special memorial page in Cultivate, along with a listing in the annual honor roll of donors.
