Tile Rubbings

K-2nd grade

Limit: 32 students

Students create rubbings of the animal-themed ceramic tiles on the Sun Porch. Then, in the art studio, students paint the rubbings with tempera paint. Finished works need time to dry at the Museum. We will mount them on a background and arrange with you to pick up the completed works. 

• With 8-16 students, visit time for tour + workshop is 60-90 minutes (depending on a 30 or 60-minute tour)
• With 17-32 students, total visit time is 90-105 minutes (depending on a 60 or 75-minute tour)
