Introduction to Reynolda

Location: Reynolda House Museum of American Art

Cost: $40; $32 for Members

Using an interdisciplinary approach and the Museum’s collection, students will explore the story of Reynolda through its people, history, art, objects, and landscape. Participants will find themselves intrigued, challenged, and supported as they explore this unique place in the company of other lifelong learners.

This eight-week course serves as a prerequisite for our volunteers who wish to lead tours and act as Historic House hosts. However, this course is open to anyone interested in learning about Reynolda. If you are taking this course for volunteer training, we recommend missing no more than two sessions. If you anticipate that you’ll have to miss more than two sessions, we encourage you to take this course next semester.

A background in art and/or history is not required, only an interest in learning about Reynolda!

Fall Class Dates: September 6, 13, 20, 27, and October 4, 11, 18 and 25.

For questions, please contact Stephani Eaton, Coordinator of Tours & Volunteers, at stephani@reynolda.org.
